How elizai-opt works

A short walkthrough — five steps from recording to a finished note.

1. Pick a patient (or Walk-in) on Record, then tap the round Record button. The screen turns unmistakably red the moment audio is actually captured.
2. Choose a note type — Evaluation, Progress Evaluation, Follow-up, VT Session, or Primitive Reflex Therapy — and dictate the visit naturally.
3. Say a laterality code with its plain-English side — “O-D, right eye, twenty forty,” not just “O-D.” Pairing the two is what lets a finding skip the read-back queue automatically.
4. Stop and upload. The shared transcription and note-generation pipeline picks it up automatically — no other action needed.
5. On Dashboard, resolve anything flagged “Needs confirmation.” Any laterality reference the parser could not resolve unambiguously waits there with candidate buttons — a click is the human confirmation the product requires before that detail is treated as final.

Settings lets you edit note templates, add practice-specific vocabulary (referring providers, local place names, therapy activity names), and update the practice profile.
